Famous Quotes - Who said this?
I just joined this group today on a search to try and find out who is credited with a quote I found written in an old notebook of mine, the quote being along this line: "The artist concerned to do nothing but express himself is not necessarily a criminal, but he shares that quality with the criminal." This I had thoughtfully attributed only to "some French architect," which I suppose I probably intended to mean Le Corbusier, but I no longer remember. Search as I may, I have yet to find any reference to this quote. Any help would be much appreciated! Jon
